Mark D. Zahn, D.D.S., M.S., P.C.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Calvin College in 1983, Dr. Mark Zahn went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1987. In 1990, he obtained a dual master’s degree in Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry from the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies at the University of Michigan.

A lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, Dr. Zahn has been in private practice since 1990. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Periodontal Alumni, Midwest Periodontal Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, R.W. Bunting Periodontal Study Club, International Team for Implantology and the Washtenaw District Dental Society. Additionally, he has been a Delegate with the Michigan Dental Association, President of the Washtenaw District Dental Society and President of the R.W. Bunting Study Club and continues to be a board member. He is also committed to the education of future dentists as a member of the Dean’s Faculty and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Dr. Zahn and his wife, Paula, have two daughters, Maria and Isabella. He often volunteers his time at his daughter’s school for dental education days. Away from the office, he enjoys music, restoring classic muscle cars and teaching Taekwondo, where he is a 4th-degree black belt (master).
